About Open Country Farm
Unlike your ordinary farm, ours is a place of rest and recuperation. For years our family has dreamed of having a space like this, and finally in the spring of 2024 OCF became a reality.
Wayne and Lydia Nelson have both been connected to the Three Hills area since childhood, and despite moving away for years, the wide open skies have always managed to call them back. Now they call Sunnyslope home, nestled in-between Linden and Three Hills.
OCF is a space that, within only one year of living here, has changed the pace of our families life. Whether you are city folk or have a farm of your own, you will find what you are looking for here. Come rest, play, and gather with those you love.

Auditorium
Our auditorium will comfortably seat 175 people and includes an excellent sound system that will accommodate a single presenter or a full band. Perfect for all kinds of events from corporate conferences, workshops, concerts, or seminars. It also has two bathrooms with showers!
Dining Hall
A perfect place to enjoy a meal. We can accommodate up to 10 tables with 8 people/table. It has a full food prep area including deep freezers, fridges, sinks, dishes, cutlery, coffee machines, etc. It also has audio and visual capabilities. Or, we can change things up and make it a great space for table games, ping pong, foosball, or, a coffee house with live music and specialty coffees.
RV’s and Tents
We can accommodate up to 14 RV’s as well as multiple tents. All our RV sights have 15 Amp power and 10 of them have water. Most of these areas have trees to provide shade and fire pits for those evenings around the campfire. The north side of our property has a beautiful, treed area that is perfect for tenting.
Activities
Open Country Farm has a 9-hole Disc Golf Course that is easy enough for beginners but challenging enough for the pros. Don’t own discs? No problem! Rent or buy from our Disc Golf Pro Shop (Open Country Store). We also have a horseshoe pit, volleyball court, baseball diamond and other games such as Spike Ball, Kan Jam, Botchy Ball, etc. that you can just borrow from the OC Store.
